A space for the community to stay, talk and interact. | The intervention at Barbería 51 aims to convert a garage into a barber shop, understanding it as a place of meeting and dialogue. To organize the space, a tradition of the region has been taken up: to sit down "a la fresca". In the past, it was more common to find meetings of people in the urban environment, where people talked and talked about their neighbors. With this premise as a starting point, an empty space is created in the interior formed by basic materials bathed in white, where the main activity is framed in a blue box, as a showcase. Outside, a bank is located as an accident, where neighbors wait, share and talk participating in the community. This intervention of low cost allows a natural division of the workspace with the waiting area, where the professional is not distracted at any time, only observed and admired from the outside.
